What we collect

Enquiry forms store the fields you type: name, business, email, phone, services, area, business type, budget, contact preference, message, the page you sent it from, consent and the time. If the address bar contains UTM tags or a gclid we store those too. We do not upload files.

Why

To reply to the enquiry and to keep a record for the IT Dorset team. The legal basis is your consent on the form and the steps needed to respond.

Email and WhatsApp

The form is sent to the IT Dorset team at info@itdorset.co.uk and stored in our enquiry system, tagged as IT Dorset. WhatsApp opens a chat with the IT Dorset team on a third-party service. Do not send secrets there.

Cookies

A first-party cookie remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional advertising and analytics cookies. Optional Google tags load only after you accept. Rejecting them does not block the form. See the cookie policy.

How long

Enquiry records stay while we are talking and for a normal accounts period after that.
